Yes it is! LOL Bicycles is about you, and me, and, everyone in the Greater Baltimore area, and beyond. With a history dating back to … oh, I don’t know (Google it, then, start a debate), but surely before anyone reading this was born, bicycles have been associated with numerous individual and societal benefits. Here’s a partial list for everyone’s benefit:

ABOUT LOL BICYCLES FOUNDER: DENNIS SYKES
A cyclist since youth, Dennis fondly remembers his first bicycle, first bicycle accident, first bicycle repair, funniest bicycle accident, racing bicycles with friends, getting his new bicycle stolen, and last bicycle ride (which should have been yesterday or earlier today, but this isn’t about shaming him or anyone else).
With 25-plus years of nonprofit management and executive experience, most recently as co-founder of a Baltimore high school youth art program (shuttered by the COVID pandemic), Dennis leveraged his passion and experience, together with friends, family, personal and professional associates, to found LOL Bicycles Inc., in 2022. He is dedicated to advancing the health, environmental, societal, and economic benefits of bicycling in Greater Baltimore.
A huge admirer of the similar work of other, more pioneering and visionary cyclists and organizations, Dennis seeks to build a strength-based, administrative coalition (pronounced “movement”), seriously sharing established cycling best practice with the best practices of shared resource development, allocation, and accountability — among like-minded, Maryland USA-interested and invested individuals, groups, corporations and public entities; collaboratively, locally and globally, with a winning smile … LOL.
